For those who like a good leg-stretch, Paul Robinson and Mervyn Flecknoe will be leading another Baildon Walkers are Welcome Challenge Walk on Saturday 21 October. Departing from the Potted Meat Stick in the centre of Baildon at 9.30am, the walk will take different routes to and from Ilkley, aiming to be back in Baildon around 4.30pm. There will be an hour in Ilkley in the middle for lunch, and, of course, any who wished could decide to return to Baildon by train. This walk will be over some rough and stony ground, with some steep ascents and descents. Further details will be availble soon but if you enjoy a good, long walk, with fantatsic views (weather dependent) then book the date in your diaries.
