** New evening walk added to our programme because of requests received.**

Join Paul Robinson at 7.00p.m. at the Potted Meat Stick, outside the Ian Clough Hall, for a 2-hour summer evening guided  walk, taking in Baildon’s river and canal.

We will leave from the Potted Meat Stick  and follow ancient narrow footpaths downhill to the river. We will walk through Denso Marston nature reserve and follow the river to the metal bridge at Charlestown. From there we will cross to the canal and follow that back to Buck Lane, before the final uphill climb to the village. The walk is 4-5 miles in length along clear footpaths and tracks and we will be return by 9pm, in time for refreshments for those who wish to indulge. The riverside path has been subject to erosion in places so please wear suitable footwear with a good grip.

We are sorry but we cannot accept dogs on our guided walks, other than assistance dogs.

In the event of totally inclement weather, necessitating the cancellation of this walk, we will post info about cancellation on Baildon Walkers are Welcome facebook page – which can also be read at the bottom of the website.
