BAILDON TO BURLEY FAIR TRADE WAY. A BAILDON WaW SECOND SATURDAY GUIDED WALK @ Meet at Baildon Potted Meat Stick by Ian Clough car park in centre of Baildon,

Meet Mike de Villiers of Baildon Fair Trade Group, to walk part of the “Bradford Fair Trade Way” linking the local Fair Trade Communities.

The route follows old paths from Baildon, along Sconce Lane to the ancient trading site of Little London, over Reeva Hill and down to Bleach Mill.  With a short deviation we reach Bleach Mill Farm where our host, Sue, serves bacon ‘saannies’ and Fairtrade tea, coffee or hot chocolate (or you may prefer to eat your own packed lunch here).  From there we continue down to the edge of Burley-in-Wharfedale and catch the train back to Baildon.

Distance  –  about 5 miles.

Please come dressed for all weathers and in walking boots or shoes with a good grip. Wellington boots recommended for children. Bring water to drink. Our Walks Leaders are not necessarily first aid trained, so please bring any medication or minor first aid equipment with you, plus water to drink and any snacks you may wish to nibble en route.  Sorry – we cannot accept dogs (except assistance dogs) on our guided walks.
