Around a 100 people came along the the Launch of the Walking Festival this morning to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. Town Council Chair, Gill Dixon, cut two splendid celebration cakes; the Baildon Ukelele Strummers entertained; and interesting history about walking in and around Baildon was given verbally, and shown on-screen. We were honoured that Nicola Rees from Look North came along and took some film clips. Around 60 people then joined one or other of the guided walks on offer from the Launch; the sun shone; and a good time was had by all.
