20 local people enjoyed the Baildon Walkers are Welcome “Railway Walk” with historical input from Peter Kerr on Saturday 14 March. An additional 16 people, including a contingent of visitors from Wakefield Ramblers, followed a 10 mile route “Over Hill and Down Dale”. The visitors from Wakefield expressed delight at the loveliness of the countryside around Baildon, the extensive views from the hill tops, and the interesting history of our area.
