GILL BECK VALLEY: threat of additional housing here and at other sites in Baildon
Bradford Council is required by the Government to produce a Local Plan identifying land for housing in all parts of the District.

Baildon Walkers are Welcome committee is particularly concerned about the proposal for housing on the field below Meadowside Road, above the Gill Beck Valley. We believe that housing at this site would be detrimental to wildlife, and to local people who use the Valley for outdoor activites to promote health and wellbeing.
Some members of Baildon Walkers are Welcome were out this morning taking part in the “Count” of people walking and cycling in the Gill Beck Valley. This censue has been organised by Friends of Gill Beck.
