A bee’s eye view of Baildon !! As we head for Christmas and mid- winter, this short walk (2 – 3 miles) around the village will look at areas that will be important habitats for bees in the coming Spring and Summer – fruit trees, flowers, shrubs and heather. We will be joined by members of Baildon Friends of the Earth who will talk with us about the importance of bees and what helps them thrive. We will visit a Baildon bee keeper and honey producer to find out what happens to bees in winter. This could be a chance to buy some local honey for a Christmas present ?

Meet Bob Davidson at the Potted Meat Stick at 10.00am. We will be back by 12.15- 12.30. The route will be mostly on roads but may include some field paths, so come ready for mud!

We are sorry, but we cannot accept dogs on our guided walks, other than assistance dogs.
