Fancy a Challenge?  Can you walk from Baildon to Skipton? SATURDAY 1 SEPTEMBER

Join Paul Robinson for the first Baildon Walkers are Welcome CHALLENGE event which will take you on a 17 mile walk over the moors of Baildon, Bingley, Ilkley, Addingham, Draughton and Skipton, following the initial part of the route of The Dales Highway long-distance walk (devised 10 years ago by Baildon Walkers are Welcome Vice-Chair, Chris Grogan – who is planning to accompany this walk).

We will leave from the Potted Meat Stick in the centre of Baildon at 9am on Saturday 1st September 2018. There will be toilet / refreshment stops at the White Wells café on Ilkley Moor and the Fleece public house in Addingham. We will also have a suitable stop for those who wish to bring a packed lunch.

We should arrive in Skipton by 6pm and trains leave Skipton approximately every half hour to take us back to Baildon.

Please come dressed for all weathers and in walking boots or shoes with a good grip. Our Walks Leaders are not necessarily first aid trained, so please bring any medication or minor first aid equipment with you, plus plenty of water to drink.

Sorry – we cannot accept dogs (except assistance dogs) on our guided walks.
