Meet at Bracken Hall and walk down Shipley Glen and past the Shipley Glen Tramway to Roberts
Park and Saltaire. We join the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and walk alongside it, passing Shipley,
Thackley, Idle, Apperley Bridge and Calverley to Rodley village bottom. We’ll pass through
industrial villages and towns, alongside old woodlands and alongside a canal full of animal and
plant life. We’ll return by bus to Shipley or Saltaire and walk back, passing the canal, through
Roberts Park and up to Shipley Glen.
