Baildon’s Welcome Way

7 miles (11.2km) Circular

Packed lunch needed.

Meet Eddie Nash at 10.30am on Shipley Glen opposite Bracken Hall Countryside Centre. Approximately 5 miles of this walk follows part of the Baildon section of the ‘Welcome Way’, a new 28 mile circular walk connecting the ‘Walkers Are Welcome’ communities of Otley, Burley in Wharfedale and Baildon.

Please come prepared for the weather! We recommend you bring:

• comfortable waterproof footwear

• suitable clothing to keep you warm and dry

• a supply of water and a snack

• a hot drink if it’s chilly

• sun screen and a hat if it’s hot

The nature of the countryside terrain means that most of these walks require a moderate level of fitness and agility and some sections have limited accessibility.
